GAZA 40 CAMPAIGN
40 Students in Gaza have secured fully funded scholarships to study in the UK. 2 from the 40, Karam and Bahzad, have secured scholarships to study in the University of Manchester, and we are working with the Gaza40 organization to help evacuate so they can begin their studies the coming academic year

1 OF 40: KARAM’S STORY
“II have earned a full scholarship to study a Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Manchester.
I was a teaching assistant at a university in Gaza, working towards my dream job at NVIDIA, having passed every recruitment stage. Only the final interview stood between me and the job, but the war began, shattering my hopes and extinguishing my dreams.
I refuse to let this opportunity escape. I still believe knowledge can heal, connect, and protect – and I’m dedicated to pursue this path no matter the obstacles..”

2 OF 40: BAHZAD’S STORY
“I am a medical doctor and mental health professional contributing to the design of an international initiative addressing the mental health needs of Gaza’s youth during the ongoing crisis.
Back in February 2024, my house was completely destroyed and ever since then, me and my family have been living in tents. The relentless bombing and military operations are not the only challenges I am facing – me and my family are struggling with a lack of internet connectivity, lack of electricity and starvation.
I’ve been accepted for a fully funded PhD at the Humanitarianism and Conflict Response Institute, University of Manchester and I hope to use this PhD along with my experiences to rehabilitate our Gazan children – traumatised by years of crisis.
However, all will become futile if I’m unable to leave Gaza and take my place so I’m calling you to please support me and the others – our futures are in your hands.”

GAZA E-SIM CAMPAIGN
All internet and fixed-line communication services in the Gaza Strip have been cut off after the last main fiber route in Gaza was targeted by the occupation. The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has announced an escalation in digital isolation in the Gaza Strip due to systematic targeting of communications infrastructure, despite multiple attempts to repair many of the long-served and alternative routes. Families cannot reach each other. Journalists cannot report. The world cannot hear their voices.
